PRINCIPAL OF GPA -

DANCE TEACHER

DANI BLAIR

Gravity Performing Arts was found by professional dancer and performer Dani Blair. Having trained at the prestigious Tring Park Performing Arts and then furthering her Musical Theatre training at the well known Millennium Performing Arts Dani then went on to have a successful career in the Commercial dance industry where she worked alongside some of the industries best choreographers and agents. Whilst working professionally Dani also taught every week for several schools and choreographed numbers that were performed in Disney Land Paris, Her Majesty's Theatre and the NECC Birmingham to name a few.

Dani always knew that having her own Performing Arts Academy was the end goal and so September 2017 Gravity Performing Arts was born!

Dani has worked along side artists such as Charli XCX, Eliie Goulding, Marc Almond and Connor Maynard to name a few and has working and starred in campaigns with MAC Cosmetics, Apple Music, Charlottle Tilbury along with Kate Moss. Dani also recently been invloved in a large campaign with Black's online which will be in stores around the UK.

Dani is fully DBS checked and trained in Paediatrics First Aid by St Johns Ambulance.


DANCE TEACHER

ROSIE REVELL

Rosie trained professionally at Laine Theatre Arts, graduating with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre (Trinity, London) and previously at The Dance School of Scotland.

Theatre Credits Include: Ensemble/Played & Understudied WICKED QUEEN in Snow White (Assembly Hall, Tunbridge Wells), Understudy/Swing for Principal Leads in Nurse Nellie Saves Panto for Evolution Productions, Glam Dancer for AIDA CRUISES (Germany), Ensemble/Understudy and played Fairy in Mother Goose (Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury), Ensemble/Understudy Fairy in Sleeping Beauty (Grove Theatre, Dunstable).

TV credits: Vinted Advert (UK television), Evolution Pantomimes Advert (Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury)

Credits during Training: Stella/Margie in Follies, Is There Life After High School, Stacey Jackson in East End Tales.

Other Work: Rosie has continually worked with Scottish Ballet in projects and choreography workshops over the years. During her training at The Dance School of Scotland she choreographed various work for competitions and projects.

Rosie is continuing to work within the industry and audition regularly for professional Musical Theatre, TV & modelling jobs as well as teaching at various theatre schools in London.

 

BALLET AND STREET DANCE TEACHER

MICAELA TODD

Micaela Todd is a performer from South Africa who moved to London in 2017 to further her training at the Urdang Academy London. Micaela grew up competing in various competitions around the world and holds several world titles. Along side auditioning and training of her own Micaela has found a huge passion for teaching, and plans to continue to teach along side her performing career.

Micaela is super excited to be working with the lovely Gravity Students!

ACTING, SINGING AND MUSICAL THEATRE TEACHER

VIKI LEECH

Originally from Glasgow, Viki is a Music and Drama Practitioner, Workshop Leader and Freelance Tutor now based in South East London. Since the age of 16, she has been assisting and facilitating drama, singing, dance and Musical Theatre classes/workshops for all ages.

Training - Stow College, Glasgow and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London (BA Hons in Musical Theatre, sponsored by the Leverhulme Award and the Donald Dewar Trust Arts Award.) Training

Theatre credits include: Captain Hook in ‘Cheer up Christmas’ (Tesco Christmas Campaign 2020),Grandma/Sorceress/Bandit Queen/Fisherwomen of Iceland and Finland in The Snow Queen, Featured Performer in Miscast Cabaret at Above the Arts (JMTheatricals), Featured Performer in SEARCH PARTY (SingLondon) Sebastian in The Tempest (London Theatre Workshop).

TV and Online Theatre Credits include: Featured Performer in Lock-in Around the Christmas Tree (JMTheatricals), Presenter and Trunchbull Impersonator in Welcome Back to RIMU (RIMU Nursery Promo), Ross in Macbeth (South Devon Players), Secretary to the Registry in Eastenders (November 2019 episode), Nurse Jenny in Trust Me (BBC1 with Jodie Whittaker), Tap Dancer for Farewell to the BBC Television Centre (The One Show, BBC).
